I felt like a queen!

The Chenonceau castle was as expected a very beautiful little white castle just by the water with a big garden with lots of flowers. We had a brochure that told us the story of every woman who had lived there so just imagine the feeling when entering a room all in black knowing that the woman who lived there was mourning her executed husband for the twelve years she was living there. That's just one of the amazing stories we got to know so do I have to say I enjoyed every second of it! So many feelings...

This is by the way another scheduled post and when you read this we're on our way to Paris. I can't wait to show my family this beautiful city which will be my home in a couple of months! :)

Le château de Chenonceau s'est avéré être, comme attendu, un très joli petit bâtiment blanc bordant le fleuve avec un grand jardin et beaucoup de fleurs. En arrivant nous avons reçu une brochure qui nous expliquait l'histoire des femmes qui y ont vécu. Imaginez la sensation quand vous entez dans une chambre toute noire sachant que la femme qui l'occupait y a pleuré son défunt mari pendant 12 ans. C'est l'une des histoires que nous avons pu découvrir, parmi tant d'autres, je n'ai donc pas besoin de vous dire à quel point nous avons apprécié notre journée !

Ce post est lui aussi programmé, donc quand vous le lirez, nous ferons route vers Paris. Je suis impatiente de montrer cette merveilleuse ville qui sera ma maison dans quelques mois, à mes parents! :)

Animal spirit

On tuesday we decided to go to a big zoo in Beauval. The main attractions was the white tigers and the giant pandas that are quite new in the park. I love animals and I always feel good when I have them close so it was another good day spent in France. We walked for hours and took a lot of pictures of the animals but most of them are thrue the fence so I will just show you some of them here on the blog. This is a scheduled post so when you read this we're on our way to Chenonceau to visit the castle which a king apparently built in 1513 for his mistress! It's supposed to be a very girly and beautiful castle. I will show you all in the next post.

Nous avons décidé mardi d'aller au zoo de Beauval. Les principales attractions y sont les tigres blancs et les pandas géants qui ont récemment fait leur apparition. J'adore les animaux et j'aime qu'ils m'entourent, ce fut donc une autre bonne journée passée en France. Nous avons marché pendant des heures et pris de nombreuses photos mais la plupart des animaux étant en cages, je n'en montrerai que quelques-unes. Ce post a été programmé de manière à être posté automatiquement, donc quand vous le lirez, nous devrions être en route vers Chenonceaux pour visiter le château qu'un roi aurait fait construire en 1513 pour sa maitresse! Il est supposé être vraiment beau. Je vous le montrerai dans mon prochain post.
