This little guy has stolen my heart

Hi everyone! Remember me?! ;)

This is just crazy, I think it's been six months since I updated my blog the last time. My excuses? Well, as I wrote in one of my last posts some really bad things happend when we were on vacation in France. Shortly after that my french studies also started. This time has been quite hard. I've been really busy and I also needed to take time for myself to get back on my feet.

At this moment a lot of things has changed and we are really close to move to France. My aim is to update my blog from now on and let you be able to follow me and my little family to our new home. My family that now has a new member. His name is Kingston and he wants to say hello! :)

C'est complètement dément, je pense que cela fait au moins six mois que je n'ai pas été active sur mon blog. Mon excuse? Et bien comme je vous l'avais dit dans un précédent post, j'ai dû faire face à des évènements tragiques lorsque nous étions en vacances en France. Et peu après cela, mes cours de français ont débuté. J'ai été vraiment très occupée. Cette période fut difficile et j'ai eu besoin de me changer les idées et de prendre soin de moi.

Au moment où je vous parle, beaucoup de choses ont évolué et nous sommes tout proche de nous envoler pour la France. Mon but est de continuer à updater mon blog pour vous permettre de nous suivre, ma petite famille et moi, lors de notre installation. Famille qui compte maintenant un nouveau membre.Son nom est Kingston et il voudrait vous dire bonjour! :)

Everything has to end

One of the last days in France we spent in Vendôme just walking around. Vendôme is a small but really beautiful city and even if we have spent a lot of time there I still find things as beautiful as the first time I saw them. In the evening we were supposed to go horse riding in the forest outside the city but we cancelled it because I recieved really bad news from Sweden which also ruined the rest of our vacation. That is also the reason why I haven't made a new post in such a long time.

Nous avons passé notre dernière journée à Vendôme à nous balader dans les rues de la ville. Vendôme est une petite mais très jolie cité et même si j'y ai séjourné pendant pas mal de temps je la trouve toujours aussi magnifique que le jour où je l'ai découverte. Ce soir-là, nous devions aller faire une promenade à cheval dans la forêt située en dehors de la ville mais nous avons dû y renoncer du fait d'une très mauvaise nouvelle reçue de Suède. Cette dernière a d'ailleurs ruiné le reste de nos vacances.

A trip to Blois

On sunday we took our car to go to Blois, a town where Jeanne d'Arc gathered her army in 1429 in order to stop the english invasion. We couldn't walk everywhere because of my high heels, but the things we saw were amazing. I have always been a fan of Jeanne d'Arc and it's a very special feeling to be in a city where she has been. They actually have a stone from her prison cell on a statue of the french hero riding a horse!

Dimanche, nous nous sommes rendus en voiture à Blois, une ville où Jeanne d'Arc constitua son armée pour repousser l'invasion anglaise en 1429. À cause de mes talons, nous n'avons pas pu marcher pendant des heures mais ce que nous avons vu était magnifique. J'ai toujours été une fan de Jeanne d'Arc et se trouver dans une ville où elle a séjourné m'a procuré un drôle de sentiment. Il y a même une pierre qui provient de son cachot aux pieds d'une statue qui représente l'héroïne française  sur son cheval!
