A walk around Vendôme and a sneak peak of our new appartment!

We're back in Sweden since one week and I think it's about time to show you our new appartment. We don't have any pictures from the inside because someone was still living there when we checked it out but we have taken some pictures from the outside to give you a little hint of what it may look like (and of course some ego pictures of me haha!) The appartment is surrounded by stores and the only neighbour we have is the owner of the appartment that lives above the appartment. She seems to be really nice and cool so I'm sure it won't be a problem. The appartment is not very big, two rooms and 47 square metres, but it's really different as it has been used as an office before. The best thing is that it has no stairs for Kingston to climb and we have a park for dogs just around the corner. I can't even tell you how excited I am to go to France and start to decorate our new home! I'm so in love with the little city, everything is so beautiful and calm and I'm sure we will really enjoy our time there.

Nous sommes de retour en Suède depuis maintenant une semaine et je pense qu'il est maintenant temps de vous montrer notre nouvel appartement. Nous n'avons pas de photos de l'intérieur étant donné que les lieux étaient encore occupés lorsque nous avons fait la visite, mais vous verrez au moins l'extérieur (et quelques photos de moi, on ne se refait pas haha!). L'appartement est entouré de magasins et notre seule voisine est notre propriétaire qui vit au dessus de nous. Elle a vraiment l'air très sympa donc cela ne devrait pas poser de problème. L'appartement n'est pas très grand, seulement deux pièces et 47 mètres carrés et très original étant donné que c'est un ancien cabinet d'assurances. Il n'y a pas d'escaliers ce qui est très bien pour Kingston et il y a un parc au coin de la rue. Je suis vraiment très excitée à l'idée de démenager et de commencer à décrorer notre nouveau foyer! Je suis tombée amoureuse de cette petite ville, tout y est si beau et calme... Je suis certaine que nous allons apprécier notre nouvelle vie.

Welcome sun!

The sun has finally reached us in the northern part of Sweden! The city is coming to life again and people are waking up from their long wintersleep :) We thought we could have some privacy to shoot pictures if we went out in the woods behind our house but no no, couples were taking romantic walks through the forest and we did our best to look normal, like we were only walking our dog ;)

Le soleil a enfin fait son apparition dans le nord de la Suède! La ville reprend vie et les gens sortent peu à peu de leur long sommeil hivernal :) Nous pensions pouvoir être tranquilles pour prendre quelques photos en allant dans le bois derrière notre immeuble mais non non,les couples étaient de sortie profitant du temps pour faire des ballades romantiques et nous avons dû faire de notre mieux pour paraître normaux, comme si nous étions uniquement là pour promener notre chienne ;)

Short walk and long studies

We started the day with a big breakfast and then we decided to fight the cold weather and go for a walk with the dogs down to the river and take some pictures. We didn't stay outside that long because I needed to go back and study some french. I have been too lazy for my own good the last couple of weeks and I have a big exam coming up very soon!! Mon Dieu! Wish me luck people! Anyhooo, I needed a little break and thought I would update my blog with this post. Have a nice weekend y'all! :)

Nous avons commencé la journée par un copieux petit déjeuner et avons ensuite décidé de braver les intempéries et d'aller au bord du fleuve avec les chiens pour prendre quelques photos. Nous ne sommes pas restés très longtemps dehors car j'ai encore pas mal de Français à réviser. J'ai été plutôt fainéante ces dernières semaines et j'ai un examen qui arrive à grands pas! Mon Dieu! Souhaitez-moi bonne chance! Bref, j'avais besoin d'une petite pause et je me suis dit que j'allais mettre mon blog à jour. Très bon weekend à vous tous! :)
