Nikon premier

Having a calm friday with my little family and just came back from a small photo shoot with the new Nikon. I really see the difference in the pictures and I think the camera has a lot of potential, now we just have to become friends with it and learn how to use it in the best way :)

Soirée calme avec ma petite famille. Nous revenons à l'instant d'une mini séance photo avec le nouveau Nikon. La différence sur les clichés est flagrante et je pense que l'appareil-photo à énormément de potentiel, il ne nous reste plus qu'à se familiariser avec lui et à apprendre comment en tirer profit :)

My new darling

Today I finally got my new darling! My Nikon D5100! I might be the happiest girl in the world right now haha! ;) And of course, on our way back we went in to some other shops and I came home with some new items again :) At the moment the Nikon is charging and I'm on my way to see one of my closest friends in town so you will see photos from the new camera in a later post! I can't wait! Have a nice evening everyone!


Aujourd'hui j'ai enfin eu mon nouveau chéri! Mon Nikon D5100! Je suis probablement la plus heureuse des filles au monde maintenant haha! ;) Et bien évidemment, sur le chemin du retour, nous nous sommes arrêtés dans d'autres magasins et je suis rentrée à la maison avec de nouveaux articles, encore :) Le Nikon est en train de charger et je suis sur le point de rejoindre une de mes meilleures amies en ville, vous verrez donc les photos prises avec le nouvel appareil dans un prochain post! Je suis impatiente! Je vous souhaite une très bonne soirée à tous!

A friend's vernissage

On saturday we went to one of my friend's photo exhibition in town. He has spent eight months in Botswana where he was part of a project to create a rehabilitation unit for people with spinal cord damages at the Princess Marina Hospital in Gabarone. During this time he took a lot of pictures and at this vernissage he showed some of them. We really enjoyed it, the pictures were amazing and we could enjoy some good wine and snacks.

Samedi après-midi, nous nous sommes rendus à une exposition de photos de l'un de mes amis dans le centre-ville. Il a séjourné au Botswana pendant huit mois où il a pris part à un projet de création d'un centre de réhabilitation pour les personnes victimes de dommages à la moelle épinière à l'hôpital de la Princesse Marina à Gabarone. Pendant cette période, il a pris de nombreux clichés et ce vernissage avait pour but d'en montrer certains. Nous avons vraiment apprécié cette sortie, les photos étaient extraordinaires et nous avons eu le droit à un apéritif composé de vin et de petits-fours.

Welcome sun!

The sun has finally reached us in the northern part of Sweden! The city is coming to life again and people are waking up from their long wintersleep :) We thought we could have some privacy to shoot pictures if we went out in the woods behind our house but no no, couples were taking romantic walks through the forest and we did our best to look normal, like we were only walking our dog ;)

Le soleil a enfin fait son apparition dans le nord de la Suède! La ville reprend vie et les gens sortent peu à peu de leur long sommeil hivernal :) Nous pensions pouvoir être tranquilles pour prendre quelques photos en allant dans le bois derrière notre immeuble mais non non,les couples étaient de sortie profitant du temps pour faire des ballades romantiques et nous avons dû faire de notre mieux pour paraître normaux, comme si nous étions uniquement là pour promener notre chienne ;)
