A little get together

Yesterday we went to our friends for a little get together with bbq and wine. They are finally back from their trip to Mykonos and it was cool to spend some time together before we go to France. I also wanted to celebrate that I'm accepted for the A course in French this autumn. One step closer to Paris!! :) At this moment I'll finish my packing and prepare a nice dinner for my parents that are coming here soon. I can't believe that we go to France tomorrow, I'm really excited and the best part is that I will have my family with me for ten days! :) I will update my blog as often as I can so that you can follow us on our trip :)


Nous avons été invités hier soir chez des amis qui organisaient un barbecue. Ils sont finalement revenus de Mykonos et c'était sympa de passer un peu de temps avec eux avant de partir pour la France. C'était aussi une bonne occasion de célébrer le fait que je suis acceptée à l'université pour étudier le Français. Un pas de plus en direction de Paris!! :) En ce moment je finis de préparer ma valise et commence à préparer un bon petit repas pour mes parents qui arrivent bientôt. Je n'arrive toujours pas à croire que nous partons demain, je suis vraiment excitée et le meilleur, c'est que ma famille nous accompagne! :) J'essayerai d'updater mon blog aussi souvent que possible afin que vous puissiez nous suivre pendant notre voyage :)

Packing is easy?!

Oh my... I've started packing for the four weeks we'll spend in France. We're leaving on saturday but I thought it was a good idea to start already now as I usually stay up half the night before departure trying to pack half hysterical. I have already cut down my things with half but it still looks like a mission impossible. My travel bag is a joke, it's not even big enough for my shoes haha! And as you all know it's about packing under the maximum weight which always is a problem. I still have my makeup, hair and skin products, jewelries and other things to pack, so wish me luck sweeties! ;)

Oh mon Dieu... Je viens de commencer à préparer ma valise pour les quatre semaines que nous allons passer en France. Nous partons samedi et je me suis dit que c'était une bonne idée considérant le fait que j'attends généralement le dernier moment et reste debout la moitié de la nuit qui précède le départ, finissant bien souvent hystérique. J'ai déjà divisé par deux le contenu de ma valise mais cela ressemble toujours à une mission impossible. Mon sac est une plaisanterie, il n'est même pas assez gros pour contenir mes chaussures haha! Et comme vous le savez le jeu consiste à ne pas dépasser un certain poids ce qui pose toujours problème. Il me reste encore mon maquillage, mes produits de beauté et mes bijoux à caser alors souhaitez-moi bonne chance!

Burgundy pants & Zara shoes

Hi people! I'm alive, I just needed a little break from my blog. I'm hoping to be able to update a lot more from now on ;) Other than that I've had a really nice weekend with a lot of good food and wine with my friends and the weather has just been amazing. Thanks Jasmine, Monica and Annica, It was cool to have some girl time with you! :) Soon we'll go back to our apartment to pack everything for our four weeks in France! :)

Bonjour tout le monde! Je suis vivante, j'avais juste besoin d'une petite pause. J'espère pouvoir updater mon blog de manière plus régulière à partir de maintenant ;) À part cela j'ai passé un très bon weekend avec beaucoup de bons petits plats, mes amies et un temps parfait. Merci Jasmine, Monica et Annica, c'était sympa d'avoir un peu de temps entre filles! :) Il est bientôt temps pour nous de retourner dans notre appartement pour faire nos valises pour nos quatre semaines en France! :)

Butterfly dress & fringe shoes

Nothing beats the feeling of sitting outside in the sun with a glass of red wine and some bread and cheese. It really gave us a pre-taste of the coming summer in France that is only two weeks away! After our little meal we went out for a walk with the dog in town and I wanted to wear something summery and fresh and decided to wear my new dress from H&M which I bought on sale for barely nothing :)

Rien ne vaut le sentiment procuré par le partage d'un bon verre de vin et d'un morceau de fromage un soir d'été. Voilà qui nous a donné un avant-goût des vacances à venir en France. Après notre petit repas, nous nous sommes rendus en ville pour promener la chienne et je voulais porter quelque chose de saison. J'ai donc décidé de mettre ma robe que j'ai achetée pour trois fois rien en solde chez H&M :)

Colours & different vs black & boring

My darling always complains that I only wear black and boring outfits so from now on I have started to buy more different and colourful clothes to shut him up haha! To be honest I really like it and I can't understand why I have bought so many black things during the years (I would never admit that to him though). In this post you'll see an example of a different pair of pants that I have bought. Still a black top but I have to begin this transformation slowly ;)

I hope you've had a nice weekend. Now we'll watch some horror movies and eat bread and cheese and also strawberries and icecream, miam miam!

Mon chéri se plaint tout le temps du fait que je ne porte que du noir ou des vêtements sans saveur. À partir de maintenant, j'ai donc décidé d'acquérir des tenues plus colorées pour le calmer haha! Pour être honnête j'aime vraiment cela et je ne comprends pas comment j'ai pu acheter autant de noir pendant toutes ces années (même si je ne l'admettrai jamais devant lui). Dans ce post, vous pourrez voir l'exemple d'un nouveau pantalon que je viens d'acheter. Bon, j'ai encore un haut noir, mais je commence cette transformation doucement ;)

J'espère que vous avez passé un bon weekend. Maintenant nous allons certainement regarder un film d'horreur et nous empiffrer de fromage, de pain, de fraises ainsi que de glace miam miam!
